NS Indoor Percussion travels to Ohio for Percussion World Championship

The Ninety Six Indoor Percussion will be heading to the Percussion World Championship in Dayton, OH on Wednesday, April 18.

This year they captured their 4th consecutive Indoor Percussion State Championship title with their show “Welcome Home”.

The show has been crowd pleasing everywhere they have performed so far.  It features performers locked up in prison cages made of real steel bars, standing nearly 11 feet tall and corners with flashing LEDs.

The performance plays out an asylum prison break and by the end, guards take back the prisoners by placing them back into the cages.  It’s an exciting show and hopefully they have a great performance in Ohio.

But the trip is expensive.  They travel with around 60 members on a tour bus, tractor trailer load of equipment and another enclosed trailer with supplies taking the trip.

You can help!!!

They have a couple more fundraising events prior to leaving.

  • Friday – Krispy Kreme Donut Sale ($7 box) will take place at all NS Schools in the student pick-up lines.  Plus band members are selling as well.
  • Saturday – Car Wash from 9-12noon at the Ninety Six Police Dept
  • Make a Love Offering – Simply donate a check made out to NS Band Booster and drop off to the Ninety Six High School.

Your support and donations will help make a difference and help influence our youth in a positive direction.

You can see their show as they perform it one last time this Tuesday, April 17 at 8pm at the Ninety Six High School gym, everyone is welcome!
