Cultivating Communities a Better Tomorrow

Join the Greenwood and Abbeville County CAST Coalition as we provide this gift to our communities.  Successful communities that are able to produce solutions have one thing in common.  They understand the importance of stakeholder engagement and empowerment, which leads to sustaining well-organized programs and services.

This workshop will cover critical skills that leaders can embrace to maximize their community engagement efforts and generate momentum to re-ignite a spirit of cooperation.

The event will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from 9am-2pm at the Greenwood First Baptist Church located at 722 Grace Street, Greenwood SC.  Registration starts at 8:30 with a light continental breakfast and light lunch around 12 noon.

A whole is only as strong as the sum of its parts. Strong leaders help develop strong organizations that support strong communities. Organizing community efforts to meet social, economic and political needs isn’t as easy as it sounds. We need your help in maximizing the resources in Greenwood and Abbeville Counties.

The discussion will be facilitated by Charles C. Weathers of the Weathers Group - a motivational speaker and business consultant who brings energy, humor, and inspiration to every event.  Weathers has more than a decade of experience as a successful entrepreneur and community coach and is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

The event will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2012 from 9am-2pm at the Greenwood First Baptist Church located at 722 Grace Street, Greenwood SC.  Registration starts at 8:30 with a light continental breakfast and light lunch around 12 noon.  For more information contact Cornerstone at 864-227-1001.
