Pets of the Week - Sparky & Clara B!

At the annual Dog Walk he was a rock star in fox-red, confidently making new friends in a crush of kids, commotion and some giant canines too; despite his compact size, 5-year-old terrier/mix Sparky’s a large-hearted boy, with a face as exquisitely sensitive as his manners, and penchant for dispensing sunny kisses on request.

Sparky was found stray in Hunter’s Creek, a mystery for sure; he’s 17 lbs. of playfulness and a favorite in his dog play group, but call him and he’ll run to you, ready to give you every ounce of his calm, loving regard. Sparky’s versatile, intelligent and imminently trainable, outside he’s a gentle playmate who’ll romp carefully with your little ones, inside he’s the most affectionately dignified lap dog you’ll meet. Come see how many facets of companionship are packed in this single exceptional friend; Sparky will capture your heart in a second and you’ll never want it back.

Her etiquette lesson’s as warm and winsome as her face is in person, and her lovely demeanor makes you want to pour a nice cup of tea with her and chat away the problems of the world. Meet 3-year-old Clara and you’ll see that she looks like a children’s book illustration come to life --- she’s classically quaint, dainty and feminine, with a soft, fluffy coat so polite she barely sheds. Clara was turned in because her owner had money problems, she’s friendly with other cats but her first interest is in you; call her and she’ll trot over with a delicate meow; intelligent, responsive and genuinely pleased to meet you. Clara’s gently refined habits make her a lovely choice for older kids, or a single who wants a stalwart friend who only looks fragile. Come stroke your affectionate new ally for life, Clara’s to ready to enrich your home today with her forever-comforting company.
