The Greenwood County Library System is pleased to announce that it now offers the Mango Languages online language-learning system to its users. Over 40 language courses are available and 16 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. Mango Language System is sponsored by an American Dream Toolkit Grant from the American Library Association and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.
Learning a new language with Mango Languages is free for all library users, and offers a fast and convenient solution for Greenwood’s increasing language-learning needs. Mango is available in two versions. One is Mango Basic which teaches everyday greetings, goodbyes, and helpful phrases in a short time and is designed to appeal to the traveler or the beginner in a new language. The second is Mango Complete, a 100-lesson course designed to provide a deep understanding of a language and its culture.
