Foster Care Today

Over 1200 children are faced with foster care in the Upstate of SC.  Many of which come into the system traumatized, in need of a temporary safe and loving home until they can return to their birth family.  In Greenwood there are 20 children that faced such a dilemma.  There are less than 5 viable homes that can be called as placement options for children in foster care in Greenwood.  Why is the number so low you may ask?

Thank you for your help

On March 29, we were hit head-on by another vehicle near Greenwood Financial. I would like to thank the two ladies who helped my granddaughter and me.  You let me use your cell phone and the other young lady let my granddaughter use her jacket.  I still have your jacket.  My heartfelt thanks goes out to you.

This should not be happening in America in 2014
SOUTH CAROLINA JUDGE, LAWYERS, AND GUARDIAN AD LITEM (GAL) OUTRIGHT TAKE AND SELL 86-YEAR-OLD'S FAMILY PROPERTY FOR SELF-PROFIT.

On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 86-year old Thelma Joyce Irving Taylor, sat in a backroom Conference Room in the Saluda Court House in Saluda, SC and watched as Judge Kathy Rushton (serving as Master/Special Referee), Atty. Christian G. Spradley (representing Moore, Taylor & Thomas, P.A. Law Firm) and Atty. Henrietta Gill (GAL) met for a "Supplemental Hearing" they had arranged for 1:00 p.m. in order to divide up amongst themselves the money which Atty. Spradley stated that he was then holding from their selling of the 110 acres of Saluda, SC farmland that had been bought by Ms. Irving Taylor's father, David Irving, in 1917 when he was just 19 years old.

Concerning Saluda Nursing Center in Saluda SC
Dear Mr. Shealy,
Recently I underwent major thoracic surgery and, as I live alone, opted to stay at Saluda Nursing Center for some part-op therapy before going home.
