Sixteen Greenwood School District 50 students were recognized for achieving a maximum score on the South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) test or South Carolina College-and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY) test at the September 18th Board of Trustees meeting.
Seven students in the district achieved a maximum score in one subject area of the SCPASS test. These students were: Rebekah Hobbs, William Beasley, Julia Creswell, William Lazur, Jacob Smith, Frederick McClendon, and Leslie Merrill.
Six students in the district achieved a maximum score in one subject area of the SC READY test. These students were: Claire Leuthner-Barrineau, Dalys Oaks, David Rausch, Ruby Self, Camilia Zou, and Caitlin Collins.
Three students achieved maximum scores in one subject area on both tests. These students were: James Owens, Jasmine Creswell, and Morgan Westberry.
“Sixteen maximum scorers is a tremendous achievement for our district,” Superintendent Darrell Johnson stated. “Maximum scorers are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, parents, and teachers.”
