D50 Teachers Recognized at It's All Good Luncheon

On December 13th, 18 teachers were recognized for their hard work and dedication at the 1st annual It's All Good Luncheon! Teachers from each school were selected by their principals due to their talent, skills, and compassion for the students they teach.

Board members, Superintendent Darrell Johnson and his Cabinet, D50 Teacher of the Year Charlotte Anthony, and State Senator Floyd Nicholson attended the event to thank the teachers for the heartprints they are leaving in the lives of their students everyday.

"The teachers seated in the room today aren't just good teachers," Keynote Speaker & Brewer Principal Kathryn Benjamin stated. "Each of you are great teachers and your principals see greatness in you. When students walk into your classroom, they realize that 'It's All Good' because of the positive relationships you build with them each day."

Superintendent Johnson stated that more employees will be recognized at future events for their outstanding work in the classroom and community.
