Hodges and Springfield will have new faces on their administrative teams for the 2018-2019 school year.
Christine Rogers will be the Assistant Principal at Hodges Elementary next year. Rogers has worked as an Assistant Principal, Director of School Counseling, Counselor, and Career Development Facilitator at Hannah Middle School in Berkeley County School District for the last 13 years. Rogers obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Charleston Southern University and received her Masters of Education degree in School Counseling from The Citadel. She also received a degree in Elementary School Administration & Supervision from The Citadel in 2011.
Tiara Watson has been named as the new Assistant Principal at Springfield Elementary School. Last year, Watson completed her first year in District 50 as a 5th grade teacher at Woodfields Elementary School. Prior to working in District 50, Watson spent two years in McCormick County School District as an Assistant Principal and teacher. Watson began her teaching career in 2005 working as an elementary school teacher in Edgefield County School District. Watson graduated from Lander University in 2005 and went on to earn a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Design from Western Governor’s
University. She obtained an Educational Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson in 2015.
