Carolina Boys Quartet coming to Walnut Grove Baptist

The Carolina Boys Quartet out of Anderson SC will be leading in worship on April 30, 2017 at Walnut Grove Baptist Church at 230 Morgan Road, Hodges SC.  Services begin at 10:45 a.m. and everyone is invited to enjoy some great music and fellowship.

National Day of Prayer Service at MSUMC

Main Street United Methodist Church (211 Main St. N) in Greenwood is hosting a service of public prayer on May 4, 6:30pm – 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary. This prayer gathering is co-sponsored by the Place of New Opportunity Church and Weston Chapel AME Church. All are invited to come pray for our community, nation, and world.

Citizens from around the state attend the 2017 "FILLED!" Conference
Anointed Business Solutions, LLC and Anointed Life in Christ Ministries, Inc. hosted the 2017 “FILLED!” Conference on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  Citizens from around the state convened at the Community Initiatives Neighborhood Center for a day full of inspiring presentations and valuable information on a vast array of topics to include spirituality, community engagement, finances, and health.

Organist Richard Elliot coming to First Presbyterian Church Feb 26

Mormon Tabernacle Principal Organist, Richard Elliot will be in concert at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenwood on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 4pm. 

Elliott is the Principal Organist at the famous Mormon Tabernacle, Salt Lake City. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and studied at the Peabody Conservatory and the Catholic University of America. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and his master’s and doctoral degrees from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
