Reverend R.C. Holloway and First Lady Derotha Holloway celebrated their 36th Pastoral Anniversary at Shaws Creek Baptist Church in Trenton, SC. Shaws Creek has a membership that reaches many areas including each of the following: Edgefield County, Aiken County, McCormick County, Greenwood County, and Augusta-Richmond County.

On November 19th, the Shaws Creek Church Family celebrated Rev. Holloway’s many contributions to the church and community. There were tributes, musical selections, prayers, humorous moments, and a dynamic message by Rev. Dr. Luns C. Richardson, President of Morris College. Rev. Holloway served on Morris College’s Financial Board for over 20 years.

His grandmother, Leta Marshall Holloway, was a graduate of Morris College’s first class in 1913. Keeping with family tradition, Rev. Holloway is also an educator with over 50 years of teaching experience. He is currently employed in the McCormick County Public Schools.
