The Fourth Annual Women's Leadership Upstate Conference for inspiring, empowering and motivating women is coming to Lander University March 10

Join hundreds of women leaders for this day of learning, connecting and empowerment at the 4th annual Women’s Upstate Leadership Conference to be held Friday, March 10th, 2017 at Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina. Hosted by Women’s Leadership Council, a program of the Greenwood SC Chamber of Commerce, this conference educates, motivates and challenges women to lead change in their own lives, their communities and the world.

The Women’s Upstate Leadership Conference 2017 is presented by FujiFilm and will kick-off with a Meet the Speakers Reception at the Arts Center in Uptown Greenwood on Thursday, March 9th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This will be a great opportunity to get to know the speakers and the Keynote Speaker plus network with fellow attendees.

The full conference will begin at 7:30 am on Friday, March 10th at Lander University in Greenwood with registration and continental breakfast until 9:00 am and then an impressive selection of educational and inspiring workshops throughout the day. 

The keynote speaker is Glenda Doles of Personally Speaking has been described as “very contagious and pleasantly outrageous!” She is rapidly becoming one of the most requested speakers on the circuit throughout the Southeast United States and delights audiences with her humor and heart!

Glenda is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was recruited by Duke Energy (formerly Duke Power) upon her graduation and had a very successful 37-year career. During her tenure with Duke, she held numerous positions in Marketing, Sales, Community Affairs and Public Relations.
