Three arrested after argument leads to shooting incident

A man was arrested after witnesses identified him as the person who fired several shots at his neighbor; his ex-girlfriend and her mom was arrested too.

Jermaine Anthony Nunnally, 45 of 307 Baldwin Ave, Greenwood SC was arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime.

According to the police report, Nunnally was arguing with a neighbor which ended up with Nunnally retrieving a handgun and firing several shots at the neighbor.  The neighbor and his child had to seek shelter to avoid being shot.  Several witnesses collaborated the events.  Nunnally’s ex-girlfriend and mother were inside the home and both heard the gunshots but both denied seeing Nunnally with a firearm.

Deputies were able to locate spent 9mm shell casings in the front yard of 307 Baldwin Ave.  They also found a bullet hole in a vehicle in the neighbor’s yard as well as a flat tire that appeared to be struck by a bullet.

During a search of 307 Baldwin Ave, owned by Nunnally’s ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Marie Caraballo, deputies were able to locate a Smith & Wesson 9mm, 15mg Oxycodone and a pill bottle containing crack cocaine.

Shaniqua Caraballo was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to a felony and her mother Maribel Caraballo, 53 of 777 Imperial Drive, Baldwin NY was also arrested and charged with possession of scheduled IV drug and possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
