Throughout the weekend folks enjoyed lots of fun, food and entertainment in Ninety Six SC during their annual SC Festival of Stars event.  By the last night an enormous crowd had gathered in the town’s park to see a South Carolina favorite, country music star Aaron Tippin.

Tippin did not disappoint as he took to the stage singing huge hits like “Ain’t Nothing Wrong With My Radio”, “You Got To Stand For Something” and many others.

He entertained not only with music but told the fans some really cool stories making everyone laugh and have a great time.

The show was cut a little short as the clouds delivered some lightning and rain but it all cleared up just in time for the fireworks to end the festival weekend with a bang.

“It was a challenge this year with the weather and we were on pins and needles for while” said Justin Parker, Tourism and Events Director for Ninety Six.  “But it was an awesome weekend with a huge crowd visiting Ninety Six.

Also among those entertaining was another hometown favorite, Chris Turner who made his way back from Nashville.  One fan said we love Chris Turner and what all he is about!  Turner is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and those attending realized quickly what that means to him.  He always gives a shout-out to his fellow Marines and others serving this country.

Turner is releasing his 3rd album called “American Made”.  Be sure to click here (Chris Turner Facebook) and visit his website at www.ChrisTurnerMusic.com.

Other events including the car and truck show, patriotic parade, hot dog eating contest, rides, food, vendors makes the SC Festival of Stars one of the best festival to attend in the state.
