Leath SCCA Chapter banned together for their annual book bag and school supply community service project. The community project is provided to a needy agency that provides care to children.
The SCCA chapter chose this project in order to assist in making the school year and learning development better for children in the community. This year’s organization was the Bower Rodger's Children Home. The Leath SCCA chapter along with employees of Leath pulled together and purchased book bags and school supplies.
The Bower-Rodgers Children's Home provides emergency intake services and residential care to abused, neglected and abandoned children from Greenwood and surrounding counties, preparing the children for permanent placement. The Bowers-Rodgers Home is a safe place for children to be children while they heal and grow.
