Two men were arrested after the Greenwood County Sheriff’s office investigating missing items from a local Business in Greenwood.

Matthew Wayne Shirley, 30 of 701 Shirley Road, Hodges and James Richard Jenkins, 46 of 407 N. Mill Road, Greenwood were both arrested and charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent greater than $5,000.

According to the report, an employee contacted the Sheriff’s Office after noticing items missing.  These item included copper windows, rolls of wire, welder, End Mills, 25 weld nut electrodes with pins and various other tools and such.  In all the total value of the missing items were estimated at $8,970.

Jenkins was currently working for the business as a maintenance worker on night shift and Shirley was their maintenance supervisor until he was fired back in July 2017 but continues to do frequent repairs for their business.

The business did have security cameras with evidence of the incident.
