A Greenwood man was arrested after a female told police that he had hit her multiple time with his fist and a wrench.
Alexander Head, 42 of 245 Magnolia Ave, Greenwood SC was arrested and charged with 1st degree domestic violence.
According to the police report, Head became upset at the victim after thinking she had cheated on him. The victim said that Head used a wrench and began striking her in the arms and legs. He then took her to a park across from the residence where he continued to strike her multiple times. She said Head hit her in the face with a closed fist and told her that “no one will hear you scream”.
He placed both of his hands into her mouth and began to pull in opposite directions, then choked her to just to the point she felt like passing out. He then threw her to the ground and began kicking her in the side.
Head was arrested and taken to the Greenwood County Detention Center.
