HospiceCare of the Piedmont has been an integral part of our medical community for more than 37 years; known for helping families by providing much needed care and support through their loved ones’ final moments.
What the vast majority of the community hasn’t known, however, is that HospiceCare of the Piedmont provides the Greenwood area with many programs to help families who are facing advanced illnesses long before they need hospice care. HospiceCare of the Piedmont in partnership with Self Regional Healthcare have provided Palliative Care Services for patients within the Cancer Center at Self Regional since 2005.
HospiceCare of the Piedmont is now opening a Palliative Care Clinic on its campus in Greenwood. With the expansion of services, a new name to encompass the services we provide will also take place, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont.
“The new name, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont, allows us to build on our reputation of more than three decades in the area and helps families to understand that we are truly there for them through the advanced stages of illness and grief,” says CEO, Nancy Corley.
“We are well prepared to meet the ever-changing needs of those challenged by advanced illnesses. We understand and will meet ones needs with expertise, support and compassion.”
Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont is your community non-profit network of care that provides expert, life-changing health care for those living with advanced illnesses.
