Greenwood's next mayor brings rhythm & leadership

Voters throughout the city of Greenwood has chosen a new Mayor, Brandon Smith to help steer Greenwood over the next few years.  Smith defeated Annette Edwards 57.6% to 41.9% during yesterday’s election.

Smith is well known throughout Greenwood and especially in Uptown Greenwood where he and his band, Jackson Station can be found entertaining the nightlife.  Smith also enjoys stepping onto the stage with other entertainers playing the local venues in Uptown Greenwood as well.

A husband, devoted father of three and practicing attorney in Greenwood, Smith still finds time to support many organizations in Greenwood such as Beyond Abuse, Miracle League, Meg’s House and several others.

Three known key points that Smith wants to focus on is the safety of all residents of Greenwood, making sure Greenwood is a beautiful city to live and work in, and to ensure Greenwood continues economic growth for years to come.

Another promise Smith makes is not only to continue the great improvements in Uptown Greenwood, he also says he will focus of other areas in the city that demands attention.

So join us in welcoming Brandon Smith as our next Mayor of Greenwood!
