A Greenwood woman was arrested after a store manager found evidence that she stole lottery tickets while working.
Adrianna Kashae Nance, 21 of 111 Lanham Street, Greenwood was arrested and charged with breach of trust $2,000 or less and intent to defraud lottery.
According to the police report, an employe at Stop-a-Minit in Greenwood noticed a shortage in the cash register which prompted a review of the surveillance footage. During the review, they noticed Nance played approximately 53 lottery tickets while working and did not pay for 17 of those tickets.
The employee contacted the South Carolina Lottery Commission and later the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office. Nance was arrested and transported to the Greenwood County Detention Center.
