Early-Bird Ticket Rate ends Saturday

Organizers for the SC Festival of Flowers have added a Beer Garden to the popular Topiaries and Tastings Wine Walk on June 8th.  Attendees will experience the locally brewed beers from Good Times Brewing. This Garden, located in The Greenwood Building’s parking area, will also feature music, finger foods and a fun environment to celebrate Greenwood’s oldest festival.

The early bird ticket rate ends June 1st.  Wine Walk tickets are $25 in advance or $35 the week of the event.  The Beer Garden is $20 in advance or $30 the week of the event. Tickets are limited and less than 200 wine and beer tickets are still available.

The 10th annual event is set for Saturday, June 8th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Uptown Greenwood and features 17 wine walk stops in addition to a separate, Beer Garden area.  Souvenir glasses are available for both the wine walk and the beer garden. Registration will be at Plaza at 323 Main Street (near Buffalo Grill Restaurant).

Exceptional wines will be featured at local Uptown restaurants and merchants, including Atlantic Bay Mortgage, Blossom Shoes & Such, David Lindsey Clothiers, Flynn’s on Maxwell Uptown Wine & Bar, Main & Maxwell, Main Street Market, Revamp Studio, Spa on Maxwell, Sugar Boutique, Sweet Tea’s Children’s Boutique, Thayer’s, The Museum, The Vintage Vault, Think Thank on Main, Voila Bridal & Formal, and Wades on Waller.  Several stops feature local music and of course, great views of the topiaries!

Tickets can be purchased at Flynn’s on Maxwell (120 Maxwell Ave.) and the Greenwood SC Chamber of Commerce (110 Phoenix St., Greenwood, SC 29646). For more information, call 864-889-9314.
