This year’s “Run To The Rescue 5K” raised close to $4,000 for the Humane of Greenwood.  Ranging in age from 8 to 76, over 80 individuals participated by running or walking the one-of-a-kind course.  The four-year-old volunteer-led event has raised a total of over $20,000 to help support the HSOG.

The monies go toward providing care for animals at the HSOG Adoption Center.  In collaboration with Greenwood County, the HSOG moved into a new facility last August and now 100% financially supports the Adoption Center’s operational costs.
