Festival Photography Exhibit Features 150+ Prints Location Moved to PTC's Medford Center

The SC Festival of Flowers Photography Exhibit & Contest, one of South Carolina’s largest summer exhibitions, has attracted over 150 individual prints for this year’s show.  According to event chair Kendall Adams, “The show is an annual tradition of the SC Festival, and promotes an interest in photography and showcases the talents of area photographers.”  The public is invited to view the amazing images captured by amateur and professional photographers!

Organizers have moved the event venue to Piedmont Technical College, James Medford Family Event Center, to coincide with two other popular events, the Juried Arts & Crafts Show and Kidfest.  According to organizers, anticipated inclement weather prompted the venue change from the Uptown area.

The exhibit is open on Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and admission is free.  An awards ceremony will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday to recognize the contest winners, who competed in two categories of “advanced” and “basic” photography.  Cash prizes will be awarded.

The venue address is 620 N. Emerald Road and the Medford Center is located on the rear of the campus.  Food and concessions will also be available for purchase.
