Gatewood Racket Club hosted the fourth annual Brian O'Reilly Memorial Tennis Tournament to benefit veterans. The one day doubles event was founded by Tournament Director Lori Flick, honoring the late O'Reilly, Korean war veteran, tennis enthusiast and former employee of Gatewood.
Twenty adult participants played twelve rounds of tennis total Sat. at the club. After tournament fees and food expenses were paid, the proceeds were donated to the local chapter of Operation Enduring Warrior. Operation Enduring Warrior is a non profit group dedicated to assisting veterans and law enforcement officers that have been wounded through physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation.

Men's 3.5 doubles round robin:
Todd Mulkey and Brian Saxon, both of Greenwood were the champions defeating the teams of Matt Davis, of Piedmont and Francis Horigoshi, Greenwood and the team of Siddhant Shrivastava and Greg Rudell of Greenville SC.
Women's 3.0 Round robin:
Ann Mendelson, Greenwood and Lynda Kinsey, Inman SC were named the champions defeating Barbara Gilbert of Ninety six and Carol Gray of Hodges and the team of Terri Reynolds and Paula McDonald, both of McCormick SC.
Mixed 8.0 Round Robin Division:
David Windham and Ginny Gast won the championship over the teams of Cathy and Calhoun Mays of Greenwood, and Scott and Jeannie Kwarsick of Greenwood.
Mixed 6.0 Round Robin:
Katie Sears and Francis Horigoshi were named champions over the teams of Paige Ouzts and Todd Mulkey,of greenwood and Matt Davis, Piedmont and Paula McDonald of McCormick.
