The Humane Society of Greenwood has been selected as a beneficiary of the Community Bag Program for the month of September.
The BI-LO Community Bag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
The Humane Society of Greenwood was selected as the September beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the BI-LO located at 2010 Montague Ave, Greenwood, SC. The Humane Society of Greenwood will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during September, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“We’re thrilled to have been chosen for BI-LO’s Community Bag program for the month of September,” said Chris Wilson, Executive Director of The Humane Society of Greenwood. “The generosity of BI-LO shoppers in our hometown will help The Humane Society of Greenwood further its mission by providing support for lifesaving spay-neuter and pet adoption initiatives.”
