The CrossRoads Pregnancy Center Board of Directors announced that they hired Brenda Feece as the new Chief Executive Officer of Crossroads Pregnancy Center.
“We believe that Brenda Feece is uniquely equipped to deal with the many challenges our ministry faces and believe God has given her special gifts for this time,” stated Interim Board Chair Rep. John McCravy. “This is a big step for CrossRoads Pregnancy Center.”
Mrs. Feece grew up in Indiana where she graduated from the Indiana University Dental School with a degree in dental hygiene. She moved to Greenville, South Carolina in 2000 and made Greenwood her home in 2015. She has been married to her husband, David, for 38 years and has 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
Mrs. Feece is well-equipped for this new role because of her strong faith, previous experience, and passion for helping single mothers. She is a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, where she recently started a support group for such women. She previously taught a Bible study for 7 years to give hope and encouragement to young mothers. When asked what Mrs. Feece was most excited about in her new role, she replied “In my role as CPC director I want to fulfill Proverbs 31:8 which says ‘speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and ensure justice for those being crushed.’”
CrossRoads Pregnancy Center was established in 1988 with the mission to support women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy through life-affirming services that provide alternatives to abortion while offering a living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They offer free pregnancy testing, before and after counseling, post-abortion counseling, abortion information, and practical support. Recently, CrossRoads began offering free ultrasounds. Current board members include Abby Drinkard, Pastor Tony Foster, Anna Hall, Alan Hughes, Carrie Kinard, Rep. John McCravy, Dr. Susan Shurden, Mac South, and Rev. Ken Trapnell.
