8U Game #1

Home Team - Score:  Fireflies – 6

Away Team - Score:   Rockets – 3

 

Game Summary:    Both teams started the game with one run a piece in the first inning.  Scoring was limited until the Fireflies struck in the bottom of the 3rd inning, scoring 3 runs behind the leadoff hit from Bentley Minick.  The Rockets answered back in the top of the 4thbehind one of Coby Scott’s two home runs of the day.  However, the Fireflies proved too much for the day putting 2 more runs up by Michael Davis’ first home run of the year and an RBI single from Connor Linsenbigler.

 

Fireflies Hitting Stats:  Michael Davis (3-3 1RBI, 1HR), Wells Calhoun (3-3, 1RBI), Ethan Sorrow (2-3, 1RBI), Preston White (3-3, 1RBI), Connor Linsenbigler (2-3, 2RBI), Holden Styron (1-2), Bentley Minick (1-2).

 

Rockets Hitting Stats:  Coby Scott (2-2, 2HR, 2RBI), Luke Mathis (2-2), Camden Talbert (1-2), Jaylen Reynolds (1-2), Harrison Randall (1-1)

 

8U Game #2

Home Team - Score:  Young Guns – 2

Away Team - Score:   Braves – 9

 

Game Summary:  The Braves started off hot with hits to the gaps, and were able to stifle the Young Gun bats with great defense.  The Braves offense was led with 3 home runs by Coleson Marino (2) and Eli Vahjen (1).

 

Young Guns Hitting Stats:  Not Available

 

Braves Hitting Stats:  Coleson Marino (3-3, 2HR), Madden Davis (2-3), Eli Vahjen (2-3, 1HR), Wilson Trent (2-2), and single hits from Colten Lewis, Tanner Lloyd, and Thomas Pratt

 

10U Game

Home Team - Score:  Crushers – 7

Away Team - Score:   River Dogs – 5

 

Game Summary:  The Crushers and River Dogs were in another tough battle that was anyone’s game until the last inning.  In the last inning, the Judah Hall scored the tying run on a double by Zac Ayer, and then the Crushers were able to add two runs to take the lead.

 

Crushers Hitting Stats:  Leland Reed (3-3), Zac Ayer (2-3), Joseph Cabri (1-3), Emmett Hamilton (1-2)

 

River Dogs Hitting Stats:  Not Available

 

 

12U Game

Home Team - Score:  Senators – 3

Away Team - Score:   Thunder – 2

 

Game Summary: The Senators and the Thunder played another close game with some outstanding pitching and defense.  The Senators won on a walk-off walk in the bottom of the sixth inning on a 3-2 count.  The Senators allowed only 3 hits behind Marnarien Chamberlain (6 K’s) and Rylee Latham (1-2/3 innings, 3 K’s).  For the Thunder, only 5 hits were allowed by Will Howard (5 K’s) and Will Bice (2 innings, 4 K’s).

 

Senators Hitting Stats:  Jeb Booth (1-2, BB, Single, 1 Run Scored), Christopher Smith (1-2, BB, Single), Rylee Latham (1 Double, 1RBI), Dax Seaborn (2-2, Single, Double, 2RBI), Marnarien Chamberlain (1-3)
