Relay For Life Pageant Pageant set for Oct 14

Do you enjoy participating in pageants? Do you like to help people? Now you can do both. We are looking for infants to young ladies twenty years of age to participate in the pageant.

SC Bar offers free legal clinic in Abbeville

The SC Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor a free legal clinic in Abbeville on Powers of Attorney on Wednesday, Sept. 27. The clinic, presented by Heather H. Stone and Thomas E. Hite, will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Main Street United Methodist Church (300 North Main St., Abbeville 29620).

Free Women's Health Screenings

Self Regional is partnering with Clinica Gratis Free Clinic to offer free women’s health screenings to women aged 20 years and older.  The event is set for Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

During the screening, healthcare professionals may provide clinical breast exams, pelvic exams, free pap smears (if recommended), and provide prevention and education information related to women’s health.  Any follow-up diagnostic tests or care will have associated costs.  Participation is limited and registration is required.

McDonalds fundraiser for the Burton Center Sept 27

McDonalds is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Burton Center on Wednesday, Sept 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Simple visit either of the following locations and McDonalds will donate 10% of all purchases to the Burton Center.

The Greenwood Shrine Club 2nd Annual Oyster Roast is set for October 7, 2017 and tickets are on sale now.

Oysters and fish plates will be served.  Just bring your own coolers and chairs and have a great time!  Gates open at 6pm.  Live music with Jake Bartley and Johnny Bad Love.
