The Greenwood SC Chamber invites representatives of area non-profit organizations and agencies, as well as business owners, to attend an upcoming program on the topic of Emergency Preparedness on Tuesday, January 31st from 11:30 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at Connie Maxwell Children’s Home in the Sam Smith Activities Center, 219 S. Jamison St., Greenwood, SC 29646.
Guest speaker George McKinney, II, Emergency Management Coordinator with Greenwood County, will provide an overview of the process of emergency operations planning for organizations in case of a man-made or natural disaster.

Being prepared in advance of an emergency situation provides organizational continuity as well as piece of mind, not only for your customers or clients, but also for your employees,” said Angelle LaBorde, President & CEO, Greenwood SC Chamber.
Hosted by the NonProfit Council and presented by The Self Family Foundation, the Council hosts quarterly programs to provide local non-profit representatives with opportunities to further their agency’s mission and to share ideas and best practices.
