September is National Recovery Monthand Cornerstone invites you to celebrate with us! Thisannual celebration honors individuals and families who are in long-term recovery from substance use disorders and promotes the message that recovery is real and is possible.
Cornerstone will host several events during the month and everyone is invited:
Wednesday, Sept 6th Cornerstone will host an open house in each of our four locations from 9-11am. Join us for light refreshments, tours, and information about services.

- Abbeville- 112 Whitehall Street
Monday, September 11th – join us for an evening of fun and celebration starting at 7pm at our 3rd annual Recovery Comedy Show. The show will be held at the Rivers Street campus of St. Mark UMC- 1633 Rivers Street, Greenwood. Admission is free but donations are welcome. Tickets are required and can be picked up at any of our locations. You don’t have to be in recovery to enjoy this show but it is recommended for ages 14 and up. Light refreshments compliments of First Citizens Bank.
Wednesday, September 20th – join us as we continue the celebration with a free hot dog luncheon at the Greenwood Cornerstone office from 11:30-1pm. This event is for anyone who is proud to say “Hot Dog! I believe in spreading hope and I believe in Recovery!”
Cornerstone provides prevention, intervention, and treatment services to those affected by alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and problem gambling. The agency is a registered 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, and has been accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) since 1993.
