Brad Cantrell joins Countybank as VP, SBA Business Development Officer

Countybank is pleased to welcome Brad Cantrell as Vice President, SBA Business Development Officer in Greenville. Cantrell comes to Countybank with extensive experience in banking, credit, and business development across the Upstate. 

Cantrell most recently served as Senior Credit Advisor with Oconee Federal where he developed and implemented a commercial lending platform and managed commercial and mortgage credit administration. He also served in executive-level credit roles during his 14 years with Greer State Bank. Cantrell holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Clemson University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Business Economics from Francis Marion University. He is also a South Carolina Bankers School graduate and holds a diploma from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. 

“We are pleased to welcome Brad to Countybank’s SBA team,” said Paul Pickhardt, Senior Vice President, SBA Lending Manager at Countybank. “His expertise in credit and business management make him a perfect fit for this leadership role.” 

As VP, SBA Business Development Officer, Cantrell is responsible for developing and structuring loan opportunities for Small Business Administration (SBA) eligible small and medium sized businesses. 

“Brad is joining an already exceptional SBA team and will undoubtedly help us continue to grow as an organization,” said Ken Harper, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Countybank. “We look forward to utilizing his skills to better serve Countybank’s customers and build lasting relationships across all markets.”
