Puckett Homestead providing special lifetime memories

On November 15th, the QDMA Lakelands Branch hosted a Youth Hunt at the Puckett Homestead in Troy, SC. First time Hunters invited to participate were from the Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Greenwood, SC, South Carolina DNR's Take One, Make One Program, local 4-H Groups and QDMA's Rack Pack.

Greenwood County Coroner Sonny Cox has identified the victim in Saturday night’s fatal collision.
 
A head-on collision along S.C. 225 Saturday night left one man dead and two others injured.

Piedmont Agency on Aging will deliver a hot, Thanksgiving Day meal to Meals on Wheels recipients this Thanksgiving Day.  Volunteers are now being recruited to deliver the traditional turkey dinners within the Greenwood area.

Six in custody following meth lab bust

The Greenwood County Drug Enforcement Unit busted another meth lab, this one with about 300 grams of meth, Wednesday night at a home on Pine Ridge Drive. Six people were arrested, making a total of 11 people arrested for manufacturing meth in the last three days.

Greenwood Family YMCA receives gift from Greenwood Municipal Federal Credit Union
