GREENWOOD, SC – The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in connection with an incident in which more than 20 malnourished cats and dogs were seized from a residence on Shrine Club Road.

Officials with the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office say that they have arrested Donald Maurice Robinson, 33, after they seized about 24 cats and dogs from the residence at 204 Shrine Club Road. Police initially arrested Mary Lynn Williams, 26, on Tuesday in connection with the incident.

Officials say that Robinson was not arrested at that time due to the fact that he sublets part of his home to another family with young children. He was taken into custody on Wednesday after the family made arrangements to stay elsewhere.

Officials say that Robinson was very cooperative while Williams was mostly uncooperative at the time they seized the animals.

Williams was given a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and released on Tuesday. Robinson was given a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and released on Wednesday.
