Glenn Ridlehoover - Bradley

Glenn Sumter Ridlehoover, 90, resident of Bradley, widower of Josephine Creswell Ridlehoover, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Self Regional Medical Center.

Born in Greenwood, October 8, 1926, he was a son of the late Jesse Clifton and Lell Jennings Ridlehoover.  Mr. Ridlehoover retired from Milway Lumber Co. and later from A.M. Tuck Construction Co.  He was a member, Elder and former Deacon of Cedar Springs ARP Church and was a member of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors.

Surviving are four daughters, Glenda Brantley and husband Virgil of Townville, Margaret Winn and husband James of Due West, Patsy Lowery and husband Ronald of Six Mile and Susan Deal and husband Rick of Troy; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Ridlehoover was predeceased by six brothers and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday at Cedar Springs ARP Church with Dr. Loyd Melton officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Tom Bannister, Will Young, John Price, Wilson Creswell, Hal Creswell, Jonathan Creswell and Erik Martin. 

Honorary escort will be John, Joe, Larry, Marshall, Frank, Richard and Steve Ridlehoover. 

The body is at Blyth Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 10:00 AM Thursday. 

The family is at the home and will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday evening.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Springs ARP Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Kaye Christian, 1957 Indian Spring Road, Elberton, GA 30635.
