Judy Marler - Greenwood

Judy Elizabeth Marler, 74, Resident of Emili Lane, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born July 20, 1943 in Greenwood to the late Lee and Zilla Amick Marler, Judy grew up in Ware Shoals and graduated from Ware Shoals High School. She retired from Monsanto.

She was a member of Ware Shoals First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Scott Abrams and wife Renee of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Cade Abrams of Columbia, Meredith Abrams and Spencer Abrams both of Greenwood; her brother Jerry Marler and wife Betty of Panama City, FL; and her sister-in-law Marie Marler. She was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Marler.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM from the Oakbrook Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Leon Jones and Dr. Rev. Marcus Bishop officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Cade Abrams, Ira Champion, Wade Malone, and Russell Davis.

The family is at the home, 110 Emili Lane. There will be no formal visitation.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of SC, 326 Montague Ave. Greenwood, SC 29649 or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 65039, Dallas, TX 75265-0309, or to the charity of ones choice.
