Betty Jo Moser, 82, died Friday, March 30, 2018 at Self Regional Medical Center with her daughter by her side.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she was a daughter of the late Alonzo and Reanna Stewart Morse. She retired from Greenwood Mills, where she worked for 38 years at Plant No. 5 and Mathews Plant and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a member of Restoration Ministries, where she also was a member of the Friends Class and Silver Wings Ministry.
Surviving is her daughter, Julie Smith of Gray Court; a grandson, Joshua Quinton Smith of Maui, HI; and her companion, George Massey of Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Beach and two brothers, Rev. Herbert W. Morse and Mitchell Morse.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Restoration Ministries with the Rev. Kenneth Rabon officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Saluda County.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sherfield, Andrew Elrod, Jack Orr, and Sammy Butler.
Honorary escort will be members of the Friend’s Class.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
The family members are at their respective homes.
Flowers are welcome; memorial donations may be made to her daughter, Julie Smith, 260 Highland Court, Gray Court, SC 29645, to help with her mother’s funeral expenses.
