Raymond “Poppa Ray” Earnest Kindle, 77, of 420 Asbury Road, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at his home.
Born in Graysville, Ohio, he was a son of the late Homer “Cotton” and Margret Smith Kindle. He retired from Grede Foundry and was a member of North Greenwood Church of God.
Surviving are his children, Tammy Templeton (Rick) of Saluda and Corina Boston (David Green) of Minerva, OH; sisters, Betty Edgington (Jim) and Bessie Morgan (Vernon), both of Graysville, OH; brothers, Jim Kindle (Carolyn) of Bedford, OH and Ben Kindle of Woodsville, OH; grandchildren, Jessica Beasley (Ray) of Donalds, SFC Michael Sondles (Candace) of Grovetown, GA, Alisha Bryner (Jered), Justin Thomas (Molly), both of Ravenna, OH, Cameron Templeton, and Madison Templeton, both of Saluda; thirteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Goldie Yantz, Mary Ethel Belford, Viola Mae Kindle, and Stella Patton and his brothers, George Kindle and Jake Kindle.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Roland officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ray Beasley, Anthony Ezekiel Booker, Levi Booker, Cameron Templeton, Rick Templeton, and Anthony Booker.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
