Daisy Louise Williams, 73, resident of Highway 178 North, Hodges, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born September 25, 1944, in Hodges, she was the daughter of the late John Anderson and Annie Mae Evans Williams. She was a 1963 graduate of Brewer High School and a graduate of Piedmont Technical College. She retired from Capsugel/Pfizer Pharmaceuticals after more than 32 years of service.
Daisy was a member of Pine Grove A.M.E. Church in Hodges, SC where she was a Sunday School Superintendent, Missionary President and Steward Board member.
She is survived by a daughter, Maya Moss (Dwayne) of Anderson, SC; a brother John Williams (Donna) of Pelzer, SC; nieces and a nephews she reared in her home, Harold B. Williams of Los Angeles CA, Sheila Williams of Douglasville, GA, Yvonne Neal (Prince) of Washington, DC, Michelle Coly (Boubacar) of Waxhaw, NC, George Williams, Jr (Katherine) of Jefferson, LA and John P. Williams (Allison) of Norcross GA; nine grandchildren; two aunts, Lenora Williams and Lossie Dickerson both of Philadelphia, PA; a special and dear friend Georgia Thomas of Hodges and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at Pine Grove A.M.E Church in Hodges at 11:00 am Saturday, April 21st with Rev. Gregory Singleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 6 to 8 Friday evening, April 20th.
