Bill Sease - Greenwood

James William “Bill” Sease, 79, resident of 111 Rutledge Road, husband of Dawn Campbell Sease, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Hospice House, Hospice Care of the Piedmont.

Born in Clinton, November 24, 1938, he was a son of the late Thomas Murl and Margaret Boozer Sease Flewellen. Bill was a US Army Veteran and retired as Vice President of Operations with Professional Medical Products (now Covidien.)

A member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the Charles Poore Sunday School Class and had held various positions within the church. 

Surviving in addition to his beloved wife of the home are three daughters, Lisa (Clay) Scott of Stow, MA, Mary Margaret (Dale) Mathis of Tulsa. OK and Sonya (Bob) Hennessy of Apex, NC; two sisters, Peggy Davis of Greenwood and Myrna (Larry) White of Spartanburg; two brothers, Thomas (Jenny) Sease of Salem, VA and George Sease of Clinton; six grandchildren, Megan (Alex) Guess of Raleigh, NC, Austin (Ashley) Scott of Charlotte, NC, Morgan (James) Williams of Owasso, OK, Josh (Mollie) Mathis of Auburn, AL, Maggie (Jonathan) Pierce and James (Rachel) Hennessy all of Holly Springs, NC; four great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters. Bill was predeceased by a brother, John Sease.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM Sunday at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Brown officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, 550 Hwy. 72 ByPass NW, Greenwood, SC 29649.
