Frances Adams Harrison, 92, former resident of the Callison community, widow of Edward Earl Harrison, passed away Friday, August 03, 2018, at NHC of Greenwood.
Born in Saluda, February 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Ernest B. and Inez Burnette Adams. She was retired from Greenwood School District 50, after working many years as a lunchroom attendant at Southside Middle School.
A member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church, she was more recently attending Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are a son, Earl Harrison of Callison; three sisters, Barbara (Gene) Glanton, Elsie (Tom) Gary, both of Greenwood and Annette West of Newberry; three grandchildren, Diane Symmes of Greenwood, Michelle Farver of Callison and Danny Bone of Arkansas; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Linda Faye Scott; a sister, Jennie Perry; two brothers, James Adams and Homer “Buddy” Adams; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott, Sherry Lynn Bone and Tony Vernon Bone.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Craig Glanton, Grayson Glanton, Richard Gardner, Ray Worthington, Frank Whitt, Eddie Barber, Leroy Harrison, Derek Reeder and Frankie Mabrey.
Honorary escort will be Earl and Louise Wrenn, O’Neil and Elise Yeargin and Clifton Eakin
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
