Albert Michael “Mike” Creswell, 70, resident of Druid Hills, husband of Deborah McDaniel “Debbie” Creswell died, Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his residence.
Born in Abbeville, July 8, 1948, he was a son of Mary Frances Irvine Creswell and the late Albert Luther “Al” Creswell. Mike was a graduate of Greenwood High School, Class of 1967, and Lander College. He retired from Greenwood Mills after over 34 years of employment and later retired from the Burton Center.
Mike was a member of North Side Baptist Church where he was a longtime greeter and usher and was a member of the Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. He was an avid football fan and proud member of the Gamecock Club for over 40 years. Mike was a passionate supporter and Board Member of the Greenwood Miracle League and was a dedicated workout enthusiast at Wellness Works of Greenwood. Most importantly, he was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home and mother of Greenwood are, one daughter, Melissa Creswell Baker and husband Tim of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Wade Baker and Gracie Baker of Greenwood; two brothers, Tommy Creswell and wife B.J. and Terry Creswell and wife Jean, all of Greenwood, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a bother, Robby “Nugget” Creswell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30PM Sunday at Northside Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Lethco and Andy Lyle officiating.
A private burial will be held at Oakbrook Memorial Park prior to the service.
The family is at the home in Druid Hills and will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
