Terry Eugene " Turk" Tate - Greenwood

Mr. Terry Eugene " Turk" Tate 46, of 106 Spring Valley Road died January 1, 2019 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta Georgia.

He was born in Greenwood County January 3, 1972 a son of Barbara Parks Tate and the late Jimmy Tate.

He was a member of Dunham Temple CME Church and  worked Security for many years until his health failed.

Surviving is his mother of Gloverville, SC; four sons, Terry Eugene Tate, Jr. and Tymeir Hovington of Salisbury, MD., Samuel Terrell Tate of Greenwood and Nathan Tate of Milford, Delaware; three daughters, Shantiquia Murray  and Tyla LaNay Tate of Greenwood, and Tiara Tate of Milford, Delaware ; three brothers, Jimmy Parks of Salisbury, MD; Irvin Jones of Ware Shoals, SC and Jason Morton of Abbeville, SC; two sisters, Yolanda ( Chris) Glichrist of Greenwood and Virginia Washington of Atlanta, GA ; two grandchildren, Persiyah Teonna Mourey and Ahmoi Tate and host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Dunham Temple CME Church  with Rev. Herman Logan officiating.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.

Flower bearers will be nieces and friends

The family is at the home 106 Spring Valley Road  and the home of his sister, Yolanda Gilchrist 304 Iroquois Drive  Country Homes.
