Jackie Murray - Greenwood

Audrey M. “Jackie” Lowery Murray, 90, resident of Stoney Point, joined the love of her life, Donald Gene “Don” Murray in Heaven on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from her home.

Born May 22, 1929 in Meyersdale, PA. She was the daughter of the late Carl T. and Margaret Dunmeyer Lowery and attended Meyersdale Public Schools. She was co-owner for over 25 years of Murray & Associates Brokerage Company in Greenville. 

A member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Mrs. Murray was a resident of Greenville for 25 years before moving to Greenwood in the early 90’s. Mrs. Murray was the former pool coordinator for Stoney Point Club for many years. 

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Diane and husband Randy Coomer of Englewood, OH and Linda Raynell Michaels of Greenwood; a son, Jerry J. and wife Brenda Jones of Lonaconing, MD; sisters, Joyce (Jim) Hopkins of Dayton, OH and Edna Frye of Johnson City, TN; eleven grandchildren including, Sean Coomer (Sandra)- Gabriel, Collin and Madailein, Melissa Fox (Steve)- Jacob, Alyssa and Braeden, Gavin Michaels (Barbie)- Mica, Brandon Michaels (Jenny), Jedadiah Michaels (Tara)- Caden, Heather Hanlin, Kevin Michaels, and other great-grandchildren; her special fur friend, Toby Keith.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years and by a son, Richard “Rick” Allen Jones.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:30PM Sunday at the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rick Hendricks officiating. 

Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 1PM at the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.

The family will be at the home in Stoney Point and will receive friends at the Funeral home from 2:30 to 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
