Frances Wrenn Pinson Nation, 81, a resident of River Fork Road, widow of James W. Nation, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Hospice House of Laurens County.
Born April 6, 1938, in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Beatrice Weathers Wrenn. She was retired as a Nurse’s Assistant from Self Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was twice married, first to the late William Walter Pinson.
Surviving are two daughters, Frances Anne and husband Brian Magaha of Waterloo and Kathryn Pinson of W. Columbia; two sons, William Walter “Billy” Pinson, Jr. and wife Debbie of Starr and Joseph W. Pinson and wife Tammy, of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, Rodney (Casey) Pinson, Amanda Pinson, Matthew (Brittany) Pinson, Vick Peckham, Tracy (Brian) Babb, Mark Magaha, Adam Magaha, Anna (TJ) Crowder and Sara (Nick) McGee; and eight great-grandchildren, Lilly and Lake Pinson, Brady and Bryce Pinson, Shelton Morgan, Laney and Riley Babb and Klhoe Magaha.
She was predeceased in addition to her two husbands, by two brothers, She was predeceased in addition to her two husbands, by seven siblings, Joseph L. Wrenn, Marvin L. Wrenn, JW Wrenn, Harold Wrenn, Marion Wrenn, Ralph Wrenn and AnnaSue Mcalister
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday at Reedy Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tommy Wooten and Rev. Marcus Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of Joseph and Tammy Pinson, 1926 Arnold Lane, Waterloo, and will receive friends at the church from 2 to 3 Wednesday afternoon.
