Robert “Bobby” Sloan Price, 64, of 105 Lipscomb Avenue, husband of Kathy Broome Price died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his home.
Born in Greenwood, he was a son of the late Charles and Irene Stevens Price. Bobby was the owner of Price’s Machine and Welding and was a Mason with the Eureka Lodge #47. He was a member of the Star Fort Antique Tractor Club and also a member of the Ninety Six Fire Department for over 35 years where he was the former Assistant Chief. Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church of Ninety Six where he was in the Jack Marshall Sunday school class.
Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, Robby Price and wife, Teresa, of Ninety Six; two daughters, Stephanie Marusarz and husband, Tim, of Buford, GA and Amanda Irene Price and husband, Ben, of Ninety Six; a sister, Jane Calhoun and husband, Donnie, of Ninety Six; five brothers, Paul D. Price, Thomas M. Price and wife, Tina, Charles A. Price and wife, Joyce, Danny A. Price, all of Ninety Six and Allen J. Price and wife, Margaret, of Abbeville; and seven grandchildren, Christian Hansen, Raegan Vereen, Erynn Price, Robert S. Price, III, all of Ninety Six, Bradley Marusarz, Chase Marusarz and Anna Grace Marusarz, all of Buford, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Ninety Six with the Rev. Chuck Sprouse officiating.
Pallbearers will be Chris Addy, Mark Hawkins, Garrett Price, Steve Price, Todd Calhoun and Bill McKee.
Honorary escort will be the members of Jack Marshall Sunday school class and the Masons from Eureka Lodge #47.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to First Baptist Church of Ninety Six Building Fund, PO Box 85, Ninety Six, SC 29666.
