Randy Vinson - Greenwood

  Randy Dale Vinson, 63, formerly of 116 Crescent Drive, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Saluda Nursing Center.

  Born December 25, 1953, he was a son of the late Lee Roy Vinson, Sr. and Ailleen McConnell Vnison. Randy was a graduate of Greenwood High and a retired truck driver for NW White. He was a loving Pappa, an Eagle Scout and of the Baptist faith.

   Surviving are his son, Benjamin Vinson (Kiley) of LaGrange, KY; granddaughter, Molly Ann Vinson of LaGrange, KY; sisters, Judy V. Long and Debbie V. Silk, both of Hodges; sister in law, Tauna Vinson of Waterloo and a host of nieces and nephews.

  In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Vinson and Lee Roy (Tiny) Vinson, Jr.; and brother in law James R. Long, Jr.

  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Langdon Erwin and Mr. Gerald Sparks officiating.

  The family will receive friends following the service.

  Special thank you to Saluda Nursing Center Staff, residents and Dr. Bill Sawyer for the excellent care and compassion shown to Randy and family. You are appreciated.

  Memorials may be made to Saluda Nursing Center, 581 Newberry Highway, Saluda, SC 29138.

  The family members are at their respective homes.

Randy use to drive our school bus. I am sorry for the lost of Randy. We was all raised up together. I know he is gone to a better place.
