The students, faculty and staff had an opportunity to let their voices be heard in a mock election at Ninety Six High School. Mrs. Rapp decided that this would be a very important teaching tool to encourage students to Vote when they are of legal age to actually cast a Vote.
"I felt that this process would teach RESPONSIBILITY. The entire student body was excited about actually voting" explained Rapp.
The voter registration office in Greenwood allowed Mrs. Rapp to use the old voter registration booths. A total of 352 students actually voted at Ninety Six High School. Mitt Romney was the overall winner at NSHS. "This was actually fun and educational" added Rapp.
