Greenwood Lakers success on rise

Success is usually measured by wins and losses in the "Sports World" and it is believed that winning and a winners' attitude breeds winners!  In the past few weeks, both have been evident in this years’ Greenwood Lakers travel basketball league.

The 8th grade Lakers have had an impressive start to their first season together. These young men went undefeated in the Upstate Warriors Tournament in Greenville, won two scrimmages, and went 2-1 in our very own Lakers’ Preseason Opener Invitation in February. In March, they finished 2-2 in the AAU Super Regional in North Augusta and traveled to Atlanta where they finished 2-2 after a hard fought semi-final game in the GA Stars Atlanta Metro Challenge.
