Consistency is the key

Smiley Bryant played consistent golf on both sides and won Friday's seniors action with a +5 at Parkland Golf Course. Needing to pull 26 points, Bryant had birdies on both sides and pulled 16 and 15 points respectively on the front and back nines. However, Bob Campbell took the biggest part of the jackpot by placing second at +4 and claiming closest to the pin honors at No. 5.

Points are accumulated by awarding 3 for birdies, 2 for pars and 1 for bogeys.

Seniors (age 55 and up) play at 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays and Fridays at Parkland. For information, call the pro shop at 229-5086.
