Description: Functions under the direction of the Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics with assignment in the Department of Mathematics and Computing. Duties include assisting Department Chair, managing, directing, and supervising administrative services for the Department, and assisting in planning and scheduling the facilities for events held in Laura Lander Hall.
Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and related work experience is required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office is required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have knowledge of and skill in administrative duties and procedures. Must maintain good relationships and communications with faculty, staff, students, and the Lander community. Must be proficient in word processing and using Internet, e-mail, and using spread sheets and data bases. Must have ability to learn specialized programs and applications such as Open CMS, Sedona, Banner, and ASTRA.
Hire Range: $22,182 – $31,614 annually
Regular Work Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday
Summer Work Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Wednesday & 7:30am – 5:00pm, Thursday
