Description: The Executive Director is the ranking administrator responsible for the long-range, strategic vision of the Lander Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Affairs. Responsible for the overall administration with emphasis on relationship building, fundraising and fulfillment of the Lander University Alumni Association mission. Candidate will actively participate in local civic, trade, and professional events to promote Lander, alumni, and events.
Minimum Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree and at least 3 years of supervisory/management experience including budget and volunteer management. We seek strong knowledge of alumni and/or related programs including benchmarking/data analysis. Experience in higher education fundraising and programs are a plus. Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of successful management of multiple projects. Superior interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to details. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be energetic, self-motivated and goal-oriented with superior writing and public speaking/presentation skills. Must have the analytical skills to manage and evaluate programs and needs, ability to work effectively with diverse staff and constituencies, leadership and management skills and ability to build cooperation and teamwork. Must be resourceful and creative in developing new and innovative programs. Must have familiarity with all Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, as well as Tableau or a similar data program.
Hire Range: $39,960 – $56,947 annually
Work Hours: Varied to include travel, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
